  System Requirements
 

All UMDNJ-CCOE online activities are accessible via Internet Explorer, Firefox and Mozilla browsers.  A high speed connection such as ISDN, T-1, DSL or Cable, is highly recommended. 

In order to participate, you should have the following:

Access to the WebCT Server

You must be able to access our WebCT server. Test your access now.

Email Address

You must have a valid e-mail address in order to create a WebCT user account. If you do not have an existing email address, you can create one using an internet email provider such as Hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo.

Supported Browsers

WebCT has specific browser requirements; please click here to see a full, updated list of browsers supported by WebCT Campus Edition 4.1.

Recommended Hardware

1. Pentium PC (or PowerMac) 
2. SVGA capable monitor, display resolution 800x600 
3. Speakers (or headphones) 
4. ISDN, T-1, DSL or Cable connection
5. black and white, or color printer 

Recommended Software

Your online activity may require you to view or prepare files using a particular software program. Common programs may include:

Microsoft PowerPoint (or PowerPoint Viewer)
Microsoft Word
Microsoft Excel

Downloads/Plug-ins

Certain educational activities may require additional software to view multi-media, presentation or printable versions of their content. These activities will be marked as such and will provide links to the required software. Examples include:
