Improving HIV/AIDS Care in New Jersey through Performance Improvement CME
UMDNJ-Center for Continuing and Outreach Education presented a poster at the 2012 Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions annual meeting. The poster, titled, "Improving HIV/AIDS Care in New Jersey through Performance Improvement CME" depicted how Performance Improvement CME can be an effective tool to raise awareness of performance gaps and support educational and systems approaches to improvement. |
Final Report and Recommendations on Healthcare and Literacy Disparities in the South Asian Community A one-day conference held on October 9th 2010, in Princeton New Jersey (NJ) addressed the current state of health disparities and health literacy challenges in the South Asian community. The conference was co-sponsored by the South Asian Total Health Initiative at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (UMDNJ-RWJMS), the Center for Healthy Families and Cultural Diversity (UMDNJ-RWJMS), and the Office of Minority and Multicultural Health of the Department of Health and Senior Services of New Jersey (OMMH). |
