Bob has devoted his entire professional career to representing the "silent majority" of students - adult learners - who seek education in health and health-related issues. With an academic background in adult learning, educational evaluation and research, and educational administration, and with 25+ years of service at UMDNJ, Bob has helped lead the industry’s transition from teacher- based models to interactive learner-focused approaches. Bob’s career has been focused on continuing medical education, beginning with his first professional position at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in 1969, as their Coordinator of Continuing Medical Education. Bob’s expertise has been sought as an accreditation site-visitor, first with the AMA and then with the ACCME.

Patrick has over 20 years of experience in the medical education industry. He began his CME career at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons Center for Continuing Education in the Health Sciences, working his way up the ranks from administrative assistant to the Center’s top administrator. He joined UMDNJ in 1999 to direct the CME program at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. His entrepreneurial spirit and management style quickly gained notice with several prominent medical education companies and pharmaceutical industry grantors, and Patrick is now primarily responsible for the development and execution of UMDNJ-wide, externally funded CE activities.

Patrick’s service in educational administration spans over 25 years as University Registrar, as Director of International Students and Scholars and as Coordinator of University-wide Commencement activities at UMDNJ. Prior to that he was Registrar at Saint Peter’s College and served as Captain in the United States Army Signal Corps. Patrick has held numerous positions within professional associations to include President of both the NJ/NY and Middle States Association of Collegiate Registrars and Officers of Admission. He also co-edited the National Association’s FERPA Guide for colleges.

Janice is a long-time veteran of CDE, having held several different positions in this field at the New Jersey Dental School. Janice has overall responsibility for program planning, development, implementation and assessment and lends her talents to new business development. Prior to joining UMDNJ, Janice was Director of Student Activities at Farleigh Dickinson University, where she honed her skills in budget management, operations and event programming.

Curtis has devoted a major portion of his 20-year career in grants and program administration to advocacy positions in AIDS and Native American health issues. Working from a firm academic foundation, including the Executive Management Program at Harvard’s JFK School of Government, Curtis has lent his talents to major initiatives at Columbia University, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the United States Conference of Mayors, among other public and private entities. Curtis has authored and co-authored numerous articles and poster presentations on AIDS and Native American public policy and education issues and his passionate commitment has been recognized in awards from a wide variety of organizations, including the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the National Native American AIDS Prevention Center, and the Metropolitan Baptist Church of Harlem.
