OVERVIEW
This program is designed to update physicians, advanced practice nurses, nurses, physician assistants, dentists, pharmacists and other health care providers on the most recent developments in the care and management of HIV disease. The conference also features presentations from some of New Jersey’s clinical leaders in HIV care and treatment.

OBJECTIVES
At the end of this program participants will be able to:
- Understand clinical practice implications for emerging treatments, new guidelines and vaccine research
- Incorporate HIV disease management strategies for managing treatment-naïve and treatment-experienced patients within clinical practice.
- Utilize Quality Management processes to improve client health outcomes
- Apply the latest clinical procedures for effective management of HIV co-morbidities
- Address recent HRSA recommendations for the practice of medical case management
- Assess psycho-social clinical care needs of at-risk HIV+ patients.

PHYSICIANS:
UMDNJ-Center for Continuing and Outreach Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. UMDNJ is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a

The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Center for Continuing and Outreach Education is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by NJSNA, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. CEUs:
UMDNJ-CCOE certifies that this continuing education offering meets the criteria for up to 0.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), provided the activity is completed as designed. Funding for this program comes from the Division of AIDS Education at the UMDNJ-Center for Continuing & Outreach Education through HIV education and training grants provided by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services (NDHSS)-Division of HIV/AIDS Services (DHAS) and the New York/ New Jersey AIDS Education and Training Center (NY/NJ AETC).

REFUNDS:
Due to the nominal cost of this program, no refunds will be granted. We encourage you to register early. This will enable us to project enrollment and avoid unnecessary cancellation of the course. In the event that UMDNJ-CCOE feels the necessity to cancel a course, the registrant will receive a full refund or credit towards another UMDNJ Continuing Education Course.
